Massively Multiplayer food games.
NYC + Shanghai
Game Creator & Producer

A series of team-based games about food, culture and language -- activating encounters in the city, exploring new neighorhoods and ending in a big dinner party in a secret location.

The game is designed so that players engage in deep and meaningful interactions with neighborhood residents, and learn about the role that food plays in residents’ lives and cultures.

This first version of the game sent players into Jackson Heights (NYC) arguably the most diverse neighborhood in the world, with a population of over 46% foreign residents speaking more than 40 languages. The second took place in Shanghai, leading a mix of players through the city’s old town through the market and in conversations with residents, both young & old.
